2016 INTERNATIONAL ASSEMBLY OF YOUTH FOR UNESCO (Y4U)

PRE-REGISTRATION 

1. The conference is open to all youth from the Philippines and abroad;
2. Pre-registration is required at www.unescoclubsph.org/y4u
3. Once the form is submitted, you will be directed to the official Facebook event page for conference updates;
4. Please check your email for further instructions and requirements.
5. Deadline of pre-registration is on August 31, 2016 (5:00 PM)

INTERNATIONAL DELEGATES

1. Visa may be needed to enter the Philippines. Please check requirements before registering;
2. For issuance of official Y4U Invitation to process your VISA, please pre-register first and request an invitation aty4ucebu@gmail.com;
3. We do not have any scholarships, grants or subsidies for delegates.

 
FEES

1. To cover the cost for meals, conference materials, certificates, honoraria, and other expenses from September 20-23, 2016; the following shall be contributed by each delegates:
   1. 4,125 PHP for members of accredited UNESCO Clubs in the Philippines;
   2. 5,500 PHP for non-members; or
   3. 130 USD for foreign participants 
2. All delegates shall pay through bank deposit to:

             National Association of UNESCO Clubs in the Philippines Inc. 
             Checking Account No: 1591 0077 49 
             Bank of the Philippine Islands - Alabang Town Center Branch
             BPI Swift Code: BOPIPHMM

1. Deposit slip shall be attached to the registration form or sent to y4ucebu@gmail.com  on or before the deadline of pre-registration.

IMPORTANT: 

• If you paid by depositing directly to the NAUCP Bank Account, DO NOT forget to bring your deposit slip as proof of payment upon registration on the first day of the conference. You may also scan the deposit slip and send it together with this confirmation slip via e-mail. Otherwise, your claim to payment will not be accepted. 
• It is the responsibility of the delegates to ensure that the secretariat receives the full payment of the registration fee without any deduction for bank charges. 
• Your registration is only completed upon full payment of the registration fee. In case you are unable to attend the conference, request for cancellation or substitution must be received in writing by the National Association of UNESCO Clubs in the Philippines or email us at least 30 days prior to the start of the Conference. Approved requests will be charged 25% of the registration fee. Request for cancellation made less than 30 days before the conference, payment will not be refunded.

 
ACCOMMODATIONDelegates shall be responsible for booking their own accommodation during the conference. The organizers shall provide a list of hotels that will offer discounted rate for Y4U 2016 delegates.
 
TRANSPORTATION
Delegates shall be responsible for their transportation from their accommodation/hotel to the conference venue. Please see map of the Cebu Normal University at https://goo.gl/maps/aboWKwqzwJn
 
FOOD 

1. The following meals shall be provided to the delegates during the conference:
   1. September 20 – pm snacks, and dinner
   2. September 21 – am snacks, lunch, pm snacks, and dinner
   3. September 22 – am snacks, lunch, pm snacks, and dinner
   4. September 23 – am snacks, lunch and pm snacks
2. Delegates with special food requirements shall inform the organizers before the conference;

ATTIRE 
The following attire shall be observed during the conference:

1. September 20 – organization’s shirt
2. September 21 – business formal
3. September 22 – business formal; STRICTLY Filipiniana during dinner
4. September 23 – business formal
